Terms and Conditions

By signing up for an appointment, utilizing any portion of our website or purchasing any product from our store you agree to our Terms and Conditions. For additional Terms and Conditions please see our Terms and Conditions within our Shop.

General

By signing up for an initial consultation, you agree that Discreet Reductions will collect medical information relevant to your conditions. This information will be used to guide treatment decisions and may be shared with your other medical providers with your written approval. All medical information is stored in compliance with local and federal HIPAA guidelines. Our scheduling software conforms to SquareSpace’s Privacy Policy as well as our personal Privacy Policy.

We may request your medical records from your current physicians. You agree to provide a records release so we can obtain this information to ensure we provide you with the best possible care.

In order to practice safe care we need to be informed of any and all medications and supplements you are currently taking. Failing to disclose medications you are taking is grounds for dismissal from the practice without notice. You will forfeit any unused appointment credits in this event.

We purposefully keep our costs low so we can pass those savings on to our patients. We strive to be affordable for everyone and please keep this in mind as you utilize our services. If you do have any concerns about our services, please contact us as we will work with you to remedy them.

Discreet Reductions is not a Primary Care Provider (PCP) and will not provide or refill any prescription medications that are not started by our providers for the purposes of weight management. You agree to always have a PCP. Additionally, we do not provide on call services and in the event of any medical emergency you must call 911 or your PCP. Messages sent to us will be addressed within 24-48 business hours.

Scheduling, Subscriptions and Refunds

In the event that you need to cancel or reschedule a visit, this must be done greater than 24 hours prior to the start time of your visit. Failure to do so will result in no refund being given in the event of cancellation, and in the event of reschedule you will not be given credit for the time and will need to pay for a new visit.

Initial consultations must be completed in person due to governmental regulations for prescribing of medications. If you are unable to see us in person at one of our locations please contact us to discuss potential options.

After a visit is completed, refunds will not be given for any reason.

Visits under the subscription plan do not roll forward on a month to month basis – if you do not schedule your visits prior to your subscription renewal you will lose the time. No refunds or credits will be given for visits that are not scheduled prior to your subscription renewal date. Your subscription renewal date is the date you are re-billed for your subscription by our scheduling software. Due to changes in the length of a month, if you subscription renews after the 28th of the month you may find that your renewal date changes to renew on the last day of the current month, and this new date carries forward for the next month. Please be sure to have your visits scheduled at least several days before your renewal date to avoid lost time due to this.

In the event you change your mind prior to your initial consultation, please contact us for a refund. Refunds may be subject to a 5% restocking fee to cover the payment processing costs which are not refunded by our payment merchant. This is assessed on a case by case basis.

If you are an active patient and decide to cancel your subscription the cancellation will be effective at the beginning of your next renewal period. There are no refunds or pro-rated refunds on the subscriptions, so please schedule your remaining visits prior to cancellation. We at Discreet Reductions understand that life happens when you least expect it and we will never be judgmental or engage in high pressure sales tactics as are commonly seen in the weight loss world. Rather, we will work with you during your last visit(s) to ensure you have the tools you need to be successful while you are not one of our patients.

Our rates are subject to change. As long as you are an active patient you will not have your subscription price go up regardless of the current rates. If you terminate your subscription and do not sign up for the support patient plan then if you choose to resume your subscription you will be billed at the current market rates. You additionally will need to complete a new consultation prior to resuming the Active Patient program.

Patient and Staff Conduct

As a patient of Discreet Reductions, you agree to treat our staff and facility with respect. We have a zero tolerance policy for any body shaming, fat shaming, judgmental language or tones, verbal or physical assault or harassment. Any complaints of this nature will be investigated thoroughly and if found to be of merit are reasons for immediate termination from our practice.

If at any time you feel uncomfortable with the way you were treated, either by a staff member or by a fellow patient, please contact Dr. Katherine Dietrich immediately. Your concerns will be addressed and thoroughly investigated.

This goes without saying, but theft from our practice of any type will not be tolerated and is grounds for immediate termination as a patient.

Billing and Insurance

By signing up for our subscription plan you agree to recurrent monthly billing. This can be easily canceled at any time, but consider becoming a support patient to lock in future pricing.

We do not bill any commercial insurance and do not accept any insurances. This allows us to keep our costs low. Your visit may be covered by your insurance, health plan, HSA or FSA but this is entirely dependent on your insurance carrier and out of our control. If requested we will provide you with a superbill after your visit that you can submit to your insurance company, but we do not imply or guarantee any coverage of our services. In the event your insurance does not accept our superbill no refunds or pro-rations for services will be provided. We additionally are unable to work with your insurance carrier to obtain coverage, including but not limited to peer to peer calls, form updates, superbill changes or other amendments to your bill.
